The cost of living crisis has placed millions of people on the borderline of poverty. Food prices have increased at the fastest rate in 45 years and energy prices have increased sharply, leaving millions to make a choice between heating and eating. While this may have made headline news over the past year, the tough choice is one that has had to be made by a great deal of pensioners for many a year.
Olive Grove Foundation have put together a mobile commercial kitchen which will be providing free hot meals to the elderly and vulnerable daily throughout the year. The meals will be cooked in our mobile commercial kitchen and hand delivered by our staff and volunteers to households in need throughout Bradford and the surrounding areas.
